FAISON -- The funeral for Annie Othel Johnson, 75, of Washington D.C., (formerly of Duplin County) will be held Saturday at noon at Moses Chapel Disciple Church of Christ with Dr. Laura Morrisey officiating. Burial will be in Faison Community Cemetery.
She died Sunday at Speciality Hospital in Washington D.C.
She was born in Faison to the late Matthew Lee Sr. and Jessie Broadhurst Stevens. She was retired with A&T University in Greensboro.
She is survived by two sisters, Wilma Johnson of Washington D.C., and Muril Piper of Fort Washington, Md., and seven brothers, Matthew Stevens Jr. of Hyattsville, Md., Robert Stevens of Burtonsville, Md., James Stevens of Pamplico, S.C., Kenneth Stevens of Austin, Texas, Glenn Stevens of New Carrolton, Md., Calvin Stevens of Greenville and Noel Stevens of Glen Dale, Md.
The viewing will be Saturday from 11 a.m. to noon at the church.
