JANICE HINTON

Janice Strickland Hinton, 75, of 629 Old Hinton Road, Princeton, died Friday evening at Pitt Memorial Hospital. She was born in Johnston County to the late Johnny Clarence and Louise Thompson Strickland. The visitation will begin this afternoon at 1:30 at Princeton United Methodist Church. The funeral service will follow at 3 p.m., with the Rev. Mike Coppock officiating. Burial will follow in the Princeton Cemetery.
Mrs. Hinton is survived her husband, William (Bill) Alston Hinton; daughter, Debbie Parrish, and her husband, Gene, of Princeton; son Rick Hinton and his wife, Rose, of Princeton; sister Doris Pittman of Pine Level; grandchildren Amy Baumgartner and her husband, Jeff, David Parrish, Cindy Parrish and Austin Hinton; and great-grandchildren, Reagan Baumgartner and Brett Baumgartner.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Princeton United Methodist Church.
The family is being served by Casey Funeral Home.
