A homegoing service for James Edward Hamilton of 616 S. Herman St., will be held today at 2 p.m. at Greater Guiding Star United Holy Church. Moderator Michael Johnson and Elder Joseph Williams will officiate. Interment will be in the Hamilton family cemetery.
Mr. Hamilton is survived by his wife, Minnie Hamilton of the home, three daughters, Millie Williams of Baltimore, Md., and Lavonda Kennon and Laquisha Toomer of the home, one brother, Simon Hamilton of Wilson, three sisters; Aretha Hamilton of Baltimore, Md., Emma Reid of Dudley and Annie Mae Carter of Goldsboro.
Rhodes Funeral Home is serving the family.
