BAILEY -- The funeral for Betty Lou Williams Waddell, 66, stepmother of Marvin Ray Waddell of Pikeville, was held Monday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Joyner's Funeral Home. Burial was in Bailey Town Cemetery.
Mrs. Waddell died Friday.
In addition to her stepson, she is survived by her husband, Jimmy Waddell; three sisters, Shelby Bailey, Ruth Bass and Joan Richardson of Bailey; and two step-grandchildren.
The family received friends on Sunday at Joyner's Funeral Home in Wilson and at other times at 12172 Old Smithfield Road, Bailey.
