SHALLOTTE -- Louis Fulwood, 56, brother of Gladys Hewett of Goldsboro, died Sunday, July 30, at his home.
The funeral was held last Friday afternoon at 1 at Cedar Grove Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Freeman Gause officiating. Burial was in Riley Hewett Cemetery in Supply.
In addition to his sister, Mr. Fulwood is survived by his wife, Vonnie Grissett Fulwood; five children, Petty Officer 1st Class Timothy Hill of Durham and Antonio, Ashleah, Ancharitee and Shermonde Fulwood of the home; four other sisters, Lonnie Dreighton of Rocky Mount, Mazelle Brown of Wilmington, Zelma Williams of Supply and Virginia Hewett of Hampton, Va.; seven brothers, Clifton Fulwood of Cleveland, Ohio, Adolph Fulwood of New Jersey, Lindsay Fulwood of Virginia, Clinton Fulwood of Durham and Maceo, Earl and Sidney Fulwood of Supply; and five grandchildren.
Peoples Funeral Home in Shallotte was in charge of the funeral arrangements.
