ROSE HILL -- The funeral for Mary Lillie Southerland, 98, of 887 Pastor Branch Road, will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the First Baptist Church Rose Hill, with the Rev. W.K. Raynor officiating. Burial will be in Duplin Memorial Gardens in Teachey.
Mrs. Southerland died Saturday at the Brian Center of Wallace.
She was the daughter of the late Neil and Lula Coston Fennell.
She is survived by one daughter, Ruby E. Murray of Rose Hill, two stepchildren, Carl Bland and Francis Hughes of New Jersey; one sister, Willie P. Williams of Rose Hill, five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
The viewing will be held today from 3 until 6 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home Chapel.
