MOUNT OLIVE -- Memorial services for Johnnie William Artis, 93 of 515 Stanley Chapel Church Road, will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Garris Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Terry Armstrong officiating.
Mr. Artis died Tuesday at SunBridge Nursing Center.
He was the son of the late Joseph and Lenora Winn Artis.
He is survived by two sons, Clonnie Artis of Philadelphia, Pa., and Johnnie Stokes of Goldsboro; three sisters, Ellen M. Artis of Mount Olive, Minnie Carlton of Philadelphia, Pa., and Sallie Artis of Goldsboro; and nine grandchildren.
