ANN KENNEDY-RICE

SNOW HILL -- Ann Marshburn Kennedy-Rice, 63, of 765 Linwood Sugg Road, died Monday at her home.
She was a member of Tanglewood Church of God in Kinston and was a retired production control clerk with Hampton Industries. She was preceded in death by her father, Dolphus "Babe" Marshburn, and is survived by her mother, Margaret Marshburn Gardner of Kinston.
She is also survived by her husband, Ira Thomas Rice of the home; daughters, Joy Kennedy and Tina Rice of Snow Hill; sons, Terry Rice and Jerry Rice of Portsmouth, Va.; sister, Mildred Marshburn Cunningham of Snow Hill; brother, Dolphus Ray Marshburn of Kinston; and one grandson.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Tanglewood Church of God with the Rev. Allen Ham officiating. Burial will be on Thursday morning at 11 at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at the church following the service on Wednesday evening.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Ecuador Missions Fund, Tanglewood Church of God, 2103 Rouse Road, Kinston, N.C., 28504.
