RALEIGH -- Gladys W. Peele, 93, died peacefully on Saturday after a brief struggle with cancer.
She fought a good fight, finished her course, kept the faith and will be dearly missed by her family, friends and the many lives she touched.
Funeral services will be held today at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home with burial to follow in Wayne Memorial Park in Goldsboro.
Surviving are her children, Sue Swails, Sanford Lee Peele Jr., Gary Peele, Gail Cahoon and Marvin Peele; nine grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
