GWENDOLYN RYALS
March 2, 1952-July 3, 2006
A memorial service for Gwendolyn Joyce Ryals was held Saturday at 11 a.m. at New Bride Missionary Baptist Church in Detroit, Mich. The Rev. Gary A. Ayler officiated.
Formerly of Goldsboro, Mrs. Ryals was a graduate of Wayne Community College and Sawyers Business School and, prior to her illness, was employed with DMC Laboratories at the Children's Hospital of Michigan. She was the daughter of Daisy Mae Lane and the late Benny Lane Sr.
In addition to her mother, Mrs. Ryals is survived by her husband, Marvin Ryals; three children, Tijuana Warren of Alabama, and Buffy Ryals and Marvin Ryals Jr. of Virginia; two brothers, Benny Lane Jr. and William Lane; two sisters, Belinda Jones and Angela Lane of Killeen, Texas; and five grandchildren.
