The funeral for John M. DeJonge, 24, will be held Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home. The Rev. Steve Grice will officiate. Burial will be on Thursday at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.
He died Sunday from injuries received in an automobile accident.
A native of Freehold, N.J., he was the son of Kenneth and Linda Hofmann. He was employed as the manager of the parts' department at Fun Products of Goldsboro.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by one brother, Robert Glenn DeJonge of Toms River, N.J., and his maternal grandparents, Frank and Dolores Ziobro of Millstone Township, N.J.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home immediately following the service on Wednesday evening.
