Lucille Celeste Strayer passed away Tuesday at Piedmont Fayette Hospital in Fayetteville, Ga., following a brief illness.
Mrs. Strayer settled in Peachtree City after leaving Goldsboro in May 2004.
Her friends in Goldsboro are invited to attend a service in her memory to be held at St. Luke United Methodist Church during its worship service at 11 o'clock on Sunday morning, June 25.
Another memorial service will be held Wednesday, June 28, at Peachtree City United Methodist Church, 225 Robinson Road, Peachtree City, Ga. Her ashes will be interred at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville, Ga., alongside those of her husband's, Richard M. Strayer, who died March 16, 2002.
