Bertha Crawford Artis died last Saturday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
She is survived by one daughter, Teresa Artis Butler; four sons, Donzelle Crawford, Quincy Crawford, Claude Artis, Jr., Travis Artis, all of Goldsboro; two brothers, Willie L. Crawford of Goldsboro and Leslie Crawford, Jr. of New Jersey; four sisters, Wilma Crawford Langston of Orlando, FL, Shirley Crawford Bell of New York, Susie Watson of Washington, DC and Linda Nickson of Goldsboro and three grandchildren.
The funeral will be held this Saturday at 1 p.m. at Barnes Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. The Rev. George T. Cromwell will officiate. Burial will be in Barnes Chapel Church Cemetery
A viewing will be held Friday from 3 until 6 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home.
