The funeral for Alonza Henry Moore Jr. will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Burning Bush United Holy Church in Kinston. Elder Kenneth Lewis will officiate. Burial will be in Bright Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Felicia Moore, of the home ; his mother, Laura Bruton Moore; one son, Ahkee James of Wilmington; five daughters, Tammy Myers, Lakeysha Moore, Tameka Moore all of Kinston, Dawnyell Moore of New York and Shana Moore of Goldsboro; three brothers, Theodore Moore and Edward Moore both of Kinston and William Leach of Greenville; three sisters, Fannie Suggs, Sylvia Shaw Baker and Laura Gooding; and 14 grandchildren.
Viewing hours will be from 1 until 6 p.m. on Tuesday at McIntyre Funeral Home and the family will be there to receive friends from 1 until 6 p.m.
