ORIE COOPER

FORT LAUDERDALE -- Orie Proctor Cooper, 86, formerly of Goldsboro, died Tuesday, at Florida Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Mrs. Cooper was born in Wilson County to the late Joe J. Proctor and Lena Williford Proctor. She was married to the late Henry Moore Cooper. Mrs. Cooper was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Goldsboro and the Goldsboro Woman's Club.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Homer Morris and the Rev. Thurman Horney officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Cooper Pittman, and husband, Donald Carl Pittman of 2658 SW 14th Drive, Deerfield Beach, Fla. 33442; grandson, Aaron Pittman of Deerfield, Fla.; sisters, Esther P. Cherry of Wilson, Ethel P. Wooten of Macclesfield and Louise P. Walker of Mocksville.
Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to St. Paul United Methodist Church, 204 E. Chestnut Street, Goldsboro, N.C. 27530.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Thursday at Seymour Funeral Home.
