LYLE R. SPIDLE

Lyle "Dick" Richard Spidle, 62, of 112 Patetown Road, died Sunday at his residence.
Mr. Spidle retired as a job counselor with the Employment Security Commission of North Carolina and was a member of the Goldsboro Elks Lodge #139 BPOE. He was a United States Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War.
A celebration of his life will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Dick's Farm at 112 Patetown Road.
He is survived by his wife, Sandy Harris Spidle of Holden Beach; one daughter, Robin Callie Spidle of the home; his mother, Emma Callie Spidle, and father, Lyle Elmer Spidle, of Fayetteville; one sister, Patti Hendrickson of Raleigh; and one brother, Jimmy Spidle of Raleigh.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to assist the family in care of Geoffrey Hulse, Atty., 231 E. Walnut St., P.O. Drawer 7, Goldsboro, N. C., 27533
The family is being served by Seymour Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
