JOHN PAUL SETLIFF
Died May 29, 2006
FREMONT --John Paul Setliff, 17, died Monday.
He was a senior at Charles B. Aycock High School, where he played on the football team. He also enjoyed playing baksetball and was an avid surfer.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 6 p.m. at Pikeville Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church, 336 Nahunta Road, Pikeville, followed by visitation. Interment will be on Friday at 10 a.m. at Elmwood Cemetery in Fremont.
Surviving are his parents, Paul and Ella Ann Whitford Setliff; sisters, Chrissy Setliff and Rebecca Setliff of the home; maternal grandmother, Teenie Stancill Whitford of Fremont; paternal grandparents, Paul and Katie Setliff of Greenville; uncles and aunts, Tom and Diane Whitford of Wilmington, Vic and Lora Setliff of Greenville, and Marc and Sun Setliff of Greenville; and cousins, Christian and Tyler Whitford, Reid, Megan, and Nicholas Setliff.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Pete Whitford.
The family will be at the home of Teenie Whitford, 207 W. Carolina Street, Fremont.
