SARAH W. SASSER

Sarah Wells Sasser, 93, died Sunday morning at the Meadows.
The funeral will be held Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Thomas McLendon officiating. Interment will be Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.
Mrs. Sasser was born in Greene County to the late Mark and Sarah Wells. She was married to the late Leslie Graham Sasser and was a member of Eden Christian Church.
She is survived by one son, DeLeon Sasser, and his wife, Betty Rose, of Goldsboro; and her grandchildren, DeLeon Sasser Jr., and his wife, Regina, of Goldsboro; and Jessica Sasser of Goldsboro; her great-grandchildren, Joshua Murray, and his wife, Pam; Brent Murray; and Lucas Murray; one great-great-grandchild, Waylen Murray; and special nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Peggy Joyce Sasser.

The family will receive friends at Seymour Funeral Home following the service on Tuesday, and other times at the home of DeLeon and Betty Rose Sasser, 803 Buck Swamp Road, Goldsboro.
