Julie Cox Bruce and Steven Bruce announce the birth and death of their daughter, Marley Alaina Bruce, on Friday at Rex Healthcare.
Graveside services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Falling Creek United Methodist Church in the Grantham Community. Rev. Mick Bowen will officiate.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her maternal grandparents, Jimmy and Judy Cox of Goldsboro; her paternal grandmother, Rebecca T. Bruce of Bahama; her maternal great-grandparents, William G. and Mabel J. Cox and Laura Sissom, of Goldsboro; and her aunts and uncles, Jennifer C. and Todd Rall of Smithfield; David and Mika Bruce and their children, Mia and Raina, of Monroe.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Jerry Wayne Bruce; her paternal great-grandparents, Tom and Estelle Tyree and Robert and Edna Bruce; and her maternal great-grandfather, Douglas Sissom.
The family will gather in the fellowship hall of Falling Creek United Methodist Church on Monday to receive friends from 1- 2 p.m.
Arrangements are with Seymour Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
