WILBUR PRICE

SEVEN SPRINGS, NC--Wilbur Price, 70, of 4107 Indian Springs Road, died Thursday afternoon at Wayne Hospital.
Services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at he chapel of Tyndall Funeral Home in Mount Olive with the Rev. T. C. West and the Rev. Mickey Whitfield officiating. Interment will immediately follow in Pineview Cemetery.
Mr. Price was a farmer of the Indian Springs community, a retired volunteer fireman with Indian Springs Fire Department, and a member of Walker Memorial United Methodist Church where he sang in the choir as long as his health permitted.
He is survived by his wife, Alma Rae Moore Price of the home; sons, Lawrence Price and his wife Lynn of Goldsboro, Dwayne Price of Seven Springs, and Jamey Price of the home; brothers, Harvey Price of Williamsburg, Va., Cletus Price of Durham, and Gene Price of Seven Springs; sisters, Polly Price of Winston-Salem, Hazel Hines of Dudley, Violet Dickerson and Minnie Ruth Gann, both of Seven Springs.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Annie Davenport Price, and a sister, Louise Shamel.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 7-9 p.m., and at the residence at other times.
