WILSON--Margaret Ruth Blizzard Holloman, 82, of 6700 Radio Tower Road died at Wilson Medical Center on Tuesday. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday at 2 p.m. at Shingleton Funeral Home Chapel with her nephew Rev. Donald Daniels officiating. Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery in Fremont.
She was a very devoted wife, mother and grandmother who is survived by daughters, Geraldine H. Pittman and husband Bill of Rock Ridge; Ann H. Keen and husband, Donnie of Sims; Joyce H. Johnson and husband Bill of Fremont; her daughter-in-law Brenda W. Holloman of Sims; sisters Evelyn Stith of Pikeville and Haddie Bowers of Pennsylvania; brother Gordon Blizzard of Pikeville; grandchildren, Raymond Pittman and wife Barbara, Sandy Perry and husband Chris, Wendy Hare and husband Michael, Lisa Johnson, Dewey Johnson and wife Crystal; three great-grandchildren; Will Perry; Justin Johnson; and Angel Johnson; very devoted nieces and nephews and many other friends and relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband Braxton Holloman; son William B. Holloman; sisters Dorothy Daniels and Marie Miller; brothers Joseph Blizzard and Buddy Blizzard.
The family will receive friends today from 7-9 p.m. at Shingleton Funeral Home and other times at 7524 Leonard Road in Kenly.
