NINETY SIX, S.C. -- Jimmy Randall Hastings, 34, brother of Jean Snipes of Goldsboro, died Sunday from injuries received in an automobile accident.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Sandridge Baptist Church Cemetery in Ninety Six, S.C., with the Rev. Marty Dorn officiating.

Mr. Hastings was born in Greenwood, S.C., to the late Eugene Ransom and Irene Goodman Hastings. He was formerly employed at Cullum Electric and was a member of Sandridge Baptist Church.

In addition to his sister, he is survived by his wife, Catherine "Cathy" Timok Hastings; three sons, Trenton Ryan Hastings, Hunter Steven Hastings and Jacob Mitchell Hastings of the home; two stepdaughters, Allison Virginia Emmons and Aryel Victoria Emmons of the home; another sister, Delores Kernells of Greenwood, S.C.; a brother, Billy R. Hastings of Bradley, S.C.; three half sisters, Mary Sue Wallis and Betty Hastings Minor, both of Greenwood, S.C., and Brenda Senterfiet of Batesburg, S.C.; and two half brothers, Col. Ernest Gary Botts Jr. of England and Acey Thomas Botts of Oklahoma.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Harley Funeral Home and other times at the residence at 3403 Golf Course Road, Ninety Six, S.C.
