LAGRANGE -- Margaret Aldridge Sutton, 78, of 5224 Paul's Path Road, died Sunday at Lenoir Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be held Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Rouse Funeral Home. The Rev. Brad Williamson will officiate. A committal service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. from Pinelawn Memorial Park.
Mrs. Sutton was born in Lenoir County to the late Marvin Lee Aldridge Sr. and Vivian Benton Aldridge. She retired as a clerk with the U.S. Postal Service and was a member of LaGrange First Free Will Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Joel E. Sutton; son, Joel E. Sutton Jr., and wife, Amelia of Hillsborough; a granddaughter, Stephanie Sutton of Bar Harbor, Maine. The family will receive friends following the service Tuesday and at other times they will be at the home. Arrangements are with Rouse Funeral Home, LaGrange.
