Dr. Andigona Hermina Stanescu, 79, mother of Dr. Ioana Cristiana Stanescu of Goldsboro, died Tuesday, April 25, 2006, at her home in Goldsboro.
She was a native of Romania.
The funeral will be held today at 4 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with Father Radu Bordeianu presiding. Burial will be on Saturday morning at 10 at Pittsfield Cemetery in Pittsfield, Mass.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 5000 Lead Mine Road, Raleigh, N.C., 27612; or to the American Cancer Society, 930-B Wellness Drive, Greenville, N.C., 27834.
