Ennis "Pete" Harris Jr., died Tuesday in Newark, N.J.
Formerly of Wayne County, he was the son of the late Ennis and Lillie Mae Lewis Harris and was a 1963 graduate of Norwayne High School in Fremont.
He is survived by one son, Ennis Harris III of New Jersey; three sisters, Magalene Woodard, Bettie Pitt and Connie Barron of Wilson; and three brothers, Amos and James Harris of Goldsboro and Ronnie Lewis of Wilson.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel in Wilson.
The viewing hours will be on Tuesday from 2 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home, and the family will receive friends at Connie Barron's residence at 1915 Longview Drive in Wilson.
