WILSON V. EAGLESON, JR.

Wilson V. Eagleson Jr., son of the late Wilson V. Eagleson, Sr. and Frances Marshall Eagleson, died Sunday. Eagleson served in the United States Air Force for thirty years until his retirement in1972.
He is survived by his ex-wife and best friend, Geraldine R. Thornton of the home; sons Wilson V. Eagleson, III and wife Brenda W. Harrison of Durham and Gerald B. Eagleson and wife Marylyn of Dudley; daughters Diedra A. Coney and husband Ronald C. Alexander Sr. of Durham and Helen F. Eagleson of the home; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Rosalind E. Exum of Hampton, Va.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Howell Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 3 p.m. at Markham Memorial Gardens in Chapel Hill.
Viewing will be held on Friday from 4-7 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home with the family present from 6-7 p.m. Condolences to the Eagleson family may be e-mailed to howellfh@earthlink.net
