LEILA RHODES KENNEDY

BEULAVILLE--Leila Rhodes Kennedy, wife of the late Nathaniel Kennedy, and daughter of the late David Becton Rhodes and Charley Turner Rhodes, passed away Friday. Leila was also preceded in death by fourteen brothers and sisters.
Leila is survived by her three children and their families; Kenneth D. Kennedy, his wife Thomasine and daughters, Susan and Kendra, her husband Michael "Hutch" Jones and their son Nathaniel; Bobby C. Kennedy and his wife Bobbye Ann, sons Adam, Jonathan, Jason and his wife Amica and their daughter Lydia; Elaine K. Dudley, her husband David Dudley and their daughter Stacey. Leila is also survived by her three sisters, Lee Ellen Martenson, Delia Myers, Rosa Kennedy and their nieces and nephews.
The service will be held at the Community Funeral Home in Beulaville on April 16th at 7 p.m., with visitation following the service. Burial service will be at 11 am on April 17th at Sand Hill Church in Potters Hill. The family will be at the home of Kennedy D. Kennedy at 2714 NC 41 & 50 in Chinquapin.
