Preston "Donnie" Joyner, 51, of Grifton Assisted Living, died Tuesday at Pitt Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
The funeral will be held Friday at 3 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park with the Rev. Chrystal McCullen officiating.
Mr. Joyner was born in Wilson County and was the son of the late Preston and Lula Nichols Joyner. He was a member of the Snow Hill Church of God and the Christian Motorcycle Association.
His survivors include two sisters and their husbands, Brenda and Nat Smoot of Snow Hill and Kaye and Russ Anderson of Lucama; a special brother-in-law, Jimmie Barnes of Wilson; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Friday from 2 until 3 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, and at other times at the home of Brenda Smoot, 235 Shady Grove Church Road, Snow Hill.
