BEULAH WITHERINGTON

March 15, 1922 - April 6, 2006

MOUNT OLIVE --Beulah Mae Deans Witherington, 84, died today at SunBridge Care Center in Mount Olive.

A native of Johnston County, she was a longtime resident of Mount Olive and was retired from Mount Olive Pickle Company.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday in Maplewood Cemetery in Mount Olive, with the Rev. Kenneth Powell officiating.

Survivors include a daughter, Linda Beasley of Mount Olive; a son and daughter-in-law, Charles Ray and Linda Witherington of Mount Olive; five grandchildren, Kimberly Machamer, Lee Holmes and Jackie Ward, all of Mount Olive, Barbara Holmes of Belfast and Ann Mills of Grantham; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ramson Deans and Annie Barnes Deans; a sister, Maggie Deans Huffman; and two brothers, James Deans and William Deans, and her former husband, Wilbert James Witherington.

The family will receive friends at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ray Witherington, 747 Shady Grove Road, Mount Olive.

Tyndall Funeral Home is serving the family.
