Laurah Amy Coley Green, 89, of 121 Ginn Lane, died Saturday at Britthaven of Goldsboro.

The funeral will be conducted on Wednesday at 1 p.m.. at St. Delight United Holy Church in Parkstown, with Bishop Leamon Dudley Sr. officiating. Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park.

Mrs. Green was born in Wayne County to the late James A. Coley and Ellen Virginia Evans Coley. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Delight Church in Parkstown.

She is survived by two sons, John Allen Best of Kinston and Minister Nathaniel Best of Goldsboro; a sister, Inatha Coley-Whitfield of Goldsboro; a very special sister-in-law, Lueada B. Dawson of Goldsboro; and nine grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

A viewing will be held Tuesday from 3 until 8 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel of Goldsboro. The family will be present at 7 p.m. to receive friends, and at other times will be at the home of Minister Nathaniel and Elma Best, 105 Farrington Place, Goldsboro.
