ANNIE B. MANDELIN

Annie Laurie Bass Mandelin, 66, passed to her Lord on Tuesday, March 21, 2006, after a brief illness.
In recent years Annie Laurie had resided in Texas and it was there that she died peacefully, surrounded by family and friends.
She was born on March 14, 1940, in Wayne County, N.C., to the late Benjamin Hubert and Lydia Jones Bass. She was the baby of six children including Mary Hunt, Mildred Johnson, Carole Woodard and Robert Bass, all deceased. She was the widow of Charles Leonard Mandelin Jr. and the mother of the late Matthew Nickolai.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, April 1, 2006, at 2 p.m. at the Rosewood Family Cemetery.
She is survived by her children and their spouses, Susan Mandelin and Jamil Khan of Texas and Charles L. Mandelin III and Heidi Clark of Durham, N.C.; a brother, Hubert Dale Bass; grandchildren, Farooq and Omar Khan and Karl, Ben and Nick Mandelin; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will be visiting and fellowshiping with friends immediately following the graveside service.
Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home of Goldsboro is serving the family.
