SEVEN SPRINGS --Roseleen Smith Brown Nethkin, 62, of 949 Camp Jubilee Road, died Friday at home.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Mount Olive Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Brother Jim Dixon will officiate. Burial will be in Pineview Cemetery.

Preceded in death by her first husband, Jimmy Lewis Brown, and her stepfather, John Henry Barwick, she is survived by her husband, Robert Nethkin of the home; her mother, Kathleen Smith Barwick of Seven Springs; two sons, Gregory Brown and his wife, Carma, and Richard Brown and his wife, Stephanie, all of Seven Springs; a daughter, Deborah Oakes and her husband, Jesse, of Snow Hill; two stepdaughters, Jeanine Walston of Pink Hill and Jennifer Morales of Mount Olive; two brothers, Charles Mozingo of Mount Olive and John Barwick, Jr. of Seven Springs; a stepbrother, Lewis Barwick of Kinston; a stepsister, Doris Evans of Goldsboro; six grandchildren, Ryan Kornegay, Hannah Brown, Dwayne Brown, Russell Kornegay, Charity Brown and Jimmy Brown II; five stepgrandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; and other relatives and many friends.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 7 until 9 p.m. at Tyndall Funeral Home in Mount Olive and at other times at the home of Gregory Brown, 959 Camp Jubilee Road, Seven Springs.
