RACHEL C. SUTTON

Rachel Crawford Sutton, 83, of 1398 Hood Swamp Road, died Tuesday morning at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Sutton was born in Wayne County to the late Charles Allen Faircloth and Sarah Elizabeth Myers Faircloth. She was married to the late Walter Sidney Crawford and Cecil Sutton. Mrs. Sutton was a member of Woods Grove Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Woods Grove Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church, with the Rev. Mike Grady and the Rev. Michael Hobbs officiating. Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park.
Mrs. Sutton is survived by one son, Jeffrey Sidney Crawford of Snow Hill; two daughters, Chloe C. Hedrick of Goldsboro and Robin C. Myers of Goldsboro; two stepdaughters, Gaye S. Hobbs of Henderson and Patricia C. Harper of Goldsboro; one brother, James Faircloth; six grandchildren, Alicia Horton, Jeremiah Daniels, Josh Crawford, Jennifer Crawford-Myers, Jason Sellers and Justin Sellers; four step-grandchildren, seven step-great-grandchildren, and 10 step-great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Seymour Funeral Home, and other times at the residence.
