Mary Louise Taylor, 75, of 214 Banks Avenue, died Monday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Rouse Funeral Home in LaGrange.
Mrs. Taylor loved knitting, classical music, opera and whistling.
She is survived by her husband, Henry R. "Bucky" Taylor; one daughter, Janet Hill and husband, Ronald, of Pink Hill, three sons, David Taylor and wife, Veronica, of Wilmington, Ray Taylor of Angier, Michael Taylor of Apex; and eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Rouse Funeral Home following the memorial service.
