Died March 10, 2006

MOUNT OLIVE --The funeral for Francis Tate, 96, will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at St. James Disciples Church. Elder Joseph Warren will officiate. Interment will be held in the Winn Cemetery.

Mrs. Tate died on Friday, March 10, 2006 at the SunBridge Nursing Center in Mount Olive.

She was the daughter of Horris Corbett and Martha Rawlings and the widow of William Tate.

Survivors include two daughters, Lillian Outlaw of Goldsboro and Shirley Grady of Mount Olive; three sons, David Tate and Bernest Tate of New London, Conn., and Ernest Tate of Dudley; 23 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren, 29 great-great-grandchildren, and one great-great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at 706 S. Andrews Avenue in Goldsboro.

Viewing hours will be from 6 until 8 this evening at Garris Funeral Home.
