ANTHONY PIAZZA

KINSTON -- Anthony "Tony" Piazza, 84, of 1801 St. George Place, died Sunday at Lenoir Memorial Hospital.
A graveside service will be held at Nassau Knolls Memorial Park, Port Washington, NY.
Mr. Piazza was born in Port Washington, N.Y., to the late Joseph and Rose Teresa Scaligero Piazza. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Piazza; and a brother, Joseph Piazza Jr. He served with the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II and was a member of the American Legion. Mr. Piazza was a retired oil company manager and in earlier years worked as a bookkeeper with G.E. Supply.
Mr. Piazza is survived by one sister, Rose Piazza of Kinston; one brother, John N. Piazza of Kinston; and two nieces, Deborah Maloney and Janet Sobie.
Local arrangements are with Rouse Funeral Home, La Grange.
