Jerry Pearson of Houston, Texas, formerly of Goldsboro, died last Wednesday.
Among his survivors are two brothers, Jimmie Pearson of Kinston and Johnny Pearson of Goldsboro; and a sister, Jessie Hackett of Philadelphia.
The funeral will be held this Thursday at 2 p.m. at Keathern Chapel in Harrells.
The viewing will be on Wednesday after 4 p.m. at Carters Funeral Home in Garland.
