RAYMOND JONES

DUDLEY -- Raymond C. "Buck" Jones, 71, of 1062 Sleepy Creek Road, died Tuesday.
A memorial service will be held Friday at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home. Nolan Wiggins will officiate.
Mr. Jones was a native of Wayne County and was the son of the late Jimmy and Hazel Talton Jones. He was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses and was in the steel erection business for over 40 years.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Edwards Jones; sons and daughters-in-law, Raymond Joseph and Lynne Jones of Dudley, Michael A. and Angie Jones of Dudley; and Tonya Jones of Dudley, widow of Brian C. Jones; seven grandchildren, Dana, Raven, Brandy, Candace, Blake, Brooke and Kaylee Jones of Dudley; one sister, Lucille Whaley of Goldsboro; two brothers, James Jones and Ralph Jones of Goldsboro.
Another brother, Kenneth R. Jones, preceded him in death.
The family will greet friends at the funeral home immediately following the memorial service on Friday night.
