Danny Ray Edwards, 31, of 640 J Howell Road, Kenly, died Saturday at Pitt Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
The funeral will be held tonight at 7 in the chapel of Casey Funeral Home in Princeton. The Rev. Joseph Baker will officiate. A private burial will be held at a later date.
Mr. Edwards is survived by one son, Caleb Dylan Edwards of the home; one daughter, Meagan Nichole Edwards of Lucama; his parents, Raymond Edward and Jenny Jackson Edwards of Princeton; one sister, Wendy Michelle Edwards of Middlesex; and his grandmothers, Shirley Newsome Jackson of Smithfield and Myrtle Hairr Edwards of Selma.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to and immediately following the service tonight.
