A funeral service for John Anthony Coley will be held 1 p.m. Monday at Elm Grove Church of Christ, 118 Booker St., Pikeville. Pastor Kenneth Vaughn will officiate. Burial will follow in the Coley Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Van Jewel Cox Coley of the home; six sons, Johnathan, Damien, Damon, Deondre', Brandon and Denzel; two daughters, D'Mona and Anika; his mother, Audrey P. Coley of Fremont; one brother, Thomas Pitt of Goldsboro; one sister, Geraldine Fitelson of Goldsboro; and one grandchild.
A viewing will be held today from 2 until 6 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home. The family will be present to receive friends from 6 until 7 p.m.
