The funeral for Louis Smith, 79, will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel. Minister Robert Mack will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Mr. Smith died Monday at his residence at 1751 Wylie Street in Philadelphia.
Mr. Smith is survived by his wife, Gladys Smith of the home; three sons Jimmy Smith of New Jersey, Billy Smith of South Carolina and Joseph Smith of Alabama; one sister, Thelma Hobbs of Goldsboro; and seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The viewing will be held at noon Saturday at Hamilton Funeral Chapel, Goldsboro. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. at 1909 Elton Drive, Goldsboro.
