FAISON -- Elizabeth "Bea" Middleton, 81, of New York, N.Y., formerly of Faison, died Monday at Calvary Hospital in Bronx, N.Y.
A funeral service will be held today at 2 p.m. from the Hill's Chapel Baptist Church. Elder Ronnie Hood will officiate. Burial will follow in the Faison Community Cemetery.
She is the daughter of the late James and Hattie Coel Smith and was a retired employee with the Waldorf Astoria Hotel.
She is survived by one daughter, Cecelia Cooper of New York City; a sister, Annie Pearl Faison of Faison; two grandchildren and one great-grandson.
A viewing will be held today, two hours prior to the funeral service at the church.
The family will assemble at the home of Annie Pearl Faison, 168 David Bright Road, Faison, one hour prior to funeral service.
