Louberta Hargrove Brock, 80, of 701 Northwest Center St., Mount Olive died Monday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

The funeral will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Tyndall Funeral Home in Mount Olive, with the Rev. Rick Hathaway officiating. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Mount Olive.

Mrs. Brock was the daughter of late Lawton and Almira Hargrove and the widow of James L. Brock. She was a well-known Avon area representative and subsequently became known as the "Avon Lady." She attended the Salem Advent Christian Church.

Her survivors include two daughters, Agnes Williams and husband, Bob Williams, of Hampton, Va., and Elain Cross of Goldsboro; two sons, Jim Brock and wife, Phyllis Brock, of Carthage, and Wayne Brock of Murrells Inlet, S.C.; a daughter-in-law, D'Ann Brock of California, wife of deceased son, Elrie Brock; a special cousin, Brownie Jernigan of Kinston; and nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 8:30 at Tyndall Funeral Home, and other times at the residence.

Flowers are welcome, or memorial gifts may be made to Salem Advent Christian Church, 909 N. Church St., Mount Olive, N.C., 28365.
