Billy Otto Holland, 65, of 106 Pam St., Dudley, died Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

The funeral will be held today at 3 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jeff Daughtry officiating. Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park

Mr. Holland was born in Wayne County and was the son of the late James Clinton Holland and Ethel K. Holland Jordan. He was a member of May's Chapel Free Will Baptist Church and was retired from Tri-County EMC.

He is survived by his wife, Lillie Wise Holland; two sons and daughters-in-law, Billy and Michelle Holland of Mount Olive and Edward and Tracey Holland of Hampton, Va.; three sisters, Hilda Smith of Fuquay-Varina, Janet Brockett of Centreville, Va., and Elnora Best and husband Dixon of Newton Grove; one brother and sister-in-law, Earl and Joyce Holland of Fuquay-Varina; seven grandchildren, Michael, Courtney and Matthew Holland of Mount Olive and Jessica, Nathan, Austin and Joshua Holland of Hampton, Va.

The family will be at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home to greet friends this afternoon during the hour prior to the service, and at other times will be at the residence.

Flowers are welcome and memorial gifts may be directed to May's Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, c/o Barbara Lancaster, 118 Ridgecrest Drive, Mount Olive.
