NEWTON GROVE -- Louis Parker Evans, 56, of 895 Water Shed Road, died Wednesday.
The funeral will be held Saturday morning at 11 in the chapel of West & Dunn Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Wood Family Cemetery.
Mr. Evans was preceded in death by his parents, James Edward and Annie Wood Evans.
He is survived by his wife, Nyra Best Evans; sons and daughters-in-law, Chad E. and Rhonda Evans of Newton Grove and James L. and Judy Evans of Coats; one grandson, Cody Gray Evans; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Cindy and Joe Thornton of Benson and Carol Smith of Spiveys Corner; and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 p.m. on Friday.
