EDWARD J. FAIRCLOTH

Nov. 9, 1925 -Feb. 1,2006

Edward Junior "Ed" Faircloth, 80, died Wednesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Faircloth was born on November 9, 1925 in Wayne County to the late Eddie Thomas Faircloth and Lillie Dickerson Faircloth. He was married to the late Lillie Beatrice Collier Faircloth. Mr. Faircloth had worked with Borden Manufacturing and retired from G & M Sales. He served his country in the United States Army during World War II.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 7:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Rose officiating. Interment will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.

Mr. Faircloth is survived by two sons, Donald E. Faircloth and his wife, Myde of Goldsboro and Johnny L. Faircloth and wife, Sonia of Port Charlotte, Fla.; four grandchildren, Shannon Robben, Christy Williams, Allen Faircloth, and Brian Faircloth; seven great-grandchildren; and his brother, Levy Faircloth of Goldsboro.

The family will receive friends Friday following the service at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at the home of his son and daughter-in-law, Don and Myde Faircloth, 119 Ridge Runner Drive, Goldsboro.
