The funeral for William King, 54, of 705 Claiborne St., will be held at 1 p.m. today at McIntyre Funeral Home Chapel, with Apostle D.L. McIntyre officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Mr. King is survived by two daughters, Shermone King of Fayetteville and Takita Terrell of Chapel Hill; three sons, Antonie King and Travones Brown of Raleigh and Jonathan McKinney of Mount Olive; his father, Arthur Lee King of Dudley; his mother, Geraldine Miller King of Goldsboro; six sisters, Cornett Durham of Dudley, Eloise K. McDaniel of Mount Olive, Cynthia King of Patterson, N.J., Odessa West of Goldsboro, Lorraine Carlton of Mount Olive and Vinline Whitaker of Clinton; and six brothers, Arthur L. King Jr. of New Haven, Conn., Allen King, Leroy King and Johnnie Moore of Goldsboro, Robert King of Mount Olive and Joe King, of Philadelphia, Pa.
McIntyre Funeral Home is serving the family.
