GLADYS H. SAULS

Gladys Harrell Sauls, 86, of LaGrange, died Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro.

A native of Greene County, Mrs. Sauls was the daughter of the late, Lester and Gatha Manning Harrell. She was a member of the United in Christ Church in Goldsboro.

The funeral services will be held tonight at 7 in the chapel of Taylor-Tyson Funeral Service in Snow Hill, with the Rev. Ira Williford officiating. A committal service will be held Tuesday morning at 11 at Snow Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Sauls was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Sauls, and a son, Leon "Pee Wee" Sauls.

Her surviving family includes a son, Kenneth Sauls and wife, Jimmi G. Sauls, of LaGrange; a daughter, Joy Shivar of Snow Hill; daughter-in-law, Bobbie Sauls of LaGrange; sisters, Irene Sauls of LaGrange, Nellie Darby of Snow Hill and Nadine Crumpler of LaGrange; brothers, Johnny Earl Harrell of Wilson and Linwood "Bones" Harrell of Snow Hill; six grandchildren, Craig Sauls, Michelle Frost and Michael Sauls of LaGrange and Ginger Edmundson, Angela Turnage and Dusty Shivar of Snow Hill; and 10 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home immediately following the service tonight, and other times at the residence at 101 Shane Lane, LaGrange.
