PIKEVILLE -- Larry Jimmy Battle, 52, of 108 Harvey Street, Pikeville died Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Elm Grove Church of Christ, Disciples of Christ, Pikeville. Elder Kenneth Vaughn will officiate. Burial will be in Hooks Grove Church Cemetery.
Mr. Battle is survived by his mother, Mildred Battle of the home; one daughter, Annyel Satterfield of Goldsboro; his twin brother, Minister Harry Battle of Pikeville, and another brother, Shelton Hamilton of New York; five sisters; Devita Hamilton and Patricia Hamilton of New York and Diane Gervin, Shirlee Gervin and Wilma Moore of Goldsboro; and three grandchildren.
The viewing hours will be from 3 until 8 today at Hamilton Funeral Chapel, of Goldsboro and the family will be present from 7 until 8 to receive friends. At other times the family will be at the residence in Pikeville.
