GRACE S. SUTTON

LAGRANGE -- Grace S. Sutton, 88, of 3889 Pine Bush Road, died Thursday at Lenoir Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Sutton was born in Lenoir County to the late Charlie and Bettie Barwick Sutton. She was wife of the late Kirby Edward Sutton and was a member of Hickory Grove United Methodist Church.
A funeral service will be held 3 p.m. today from Rouse Funeral Home. The Rev. Ralph Hill will officiate. Burial will follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
Mrs. Sutton is survived by two children, Randall Kirby Sutton and wife, Julia, of LaGrange and Myra Sutton Herring and husband, Eddie, of LaGrange; three grandchildren, Sherry Sutton Curtiss and husband, Philip, of Rocky Mount, Matt Herring and wife, Misty, of Greenville, and Brooks Herring of LaGrange; two great-grandchildren, Eden and Gemma Curtiss; sister, Lenora Yates of Winston-Salem; and two brothers, Jack Sutton and Wilton Sutton, both of LaGrange.
The family received friends Saturday evening from 7 until 9 at Rouse Funeral Home. At other times, they will be at the home.
